Apart from the very beginning, a few scenes, it's set over a period of 24 hours. It's about two brothers who come back to take revenge on a family as one of the brothers has been held for two years by this crazy Nazi vampire man. I'm going to stop right there! It sounds so dumb. You can't say it. Anyway, my character never grows old and I have to cut people at night and steal them because he used to feed off me as a child. This just gets worse! Can I stop there? You’ll have to just watch it. It's a supernatural thriller horror. Look at me! I've got leaves on my scarf. Just beautiful. Will you start speaking in an American accent all the time like Dominic Purcell? No. He just decided, 'I am so sick to death of trying to focus on the American accent rather than the acting. So he started speaking in one all the time. It's a very smart idea. Joel said I should do that. [Our English co-star] Henry Cavill spoke in an American accent. { September 1, 2007 } For those wanting to kick off 2008 with your own marathon of The Tudors, you're in luck! The first season DVD set will be on shelves January 8, 2008, and is available for pre-order at Amazon.com. { August 10, 2007 } Ready for Henry as a mustached blonde? You can see him as Humphrey for the film Stardust, now in theatres. Filming for the second season of The Tudors is well under way and expected to air next spring. The tentative release is beginning of January 2008. { March 28, 2007 } With The Tudors fresh on everyone's mind, it's time to throw a new project into the mix: Town Creek The story centers on a West Virginia man who comes to terms with his moral qualms and helps his brother wipe out a family that had been protecting a Nazi vampire and who had kept his brother captive for him to feed off of for years. Henry is replacing Jesse Metcalf to star as one of the brothers, Evan Marshall, alongside Dominic Purcell. Town Creek was written by Dave Kajganich, and is directed by Joel Schumacher. Filming began in Romania this month with a still tbd release date for 2008. From cinematical.com: Director Joel Schumacher recently spoke with a Canadian news service about the next movie he's filming, the Nazi-horror film Town Creek. First of all, "there is blood in it, but it's not really a vampire movie," he says. Schumacher also said the first part of the film will be set in 1936, at the height of Hitler's power, and the second half will be set during the present day, the theme being 'ghosts of the past rising up to confront today's world.' "It's about Hitler and Himmler and Goebbels' association with the occult -- this is what they based the Master Race on." He continues "the one thing about the Nazis is that they so loved themselves that they documented everything, and there are these great documentaries on Hitler's obsession with the occult. { August 6, 2006 } For anyone that used to visit the messageboard, or those wanting to join... it's back! { May 5, 2006 } Not only is it Henry's 23rd birthday, but there is some great news to share! Henry has started filming for another period piece, Stardust. He plays the role of Humphrey, alongside such actors as Robert De Niro, Rupert Everett, Claire Danes, Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeiffer, Peter O'Toole, and his Tristan and Isolde castmate, Mark Strong. The film is currently scheduled for a theatre release June 22, 2007. Not only is that project in the works, Henry is also scheduled to start filming for a new Showtime series, The Tudors, in Ireland later this month. The show centers around young Henry VIII, played by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and prominent figures in his life during the 1500s -- this will include Henry VIII's best friend, Charles Brandon, played by Henry. There is no set air date, though the network is hinting at early 2007. { March 1, 2006 } Red Riding Hood available on DVD June 27, 2006 in the US. Pre-ordering is an option on most any website that sells movies. Tristan and Isolde available on DVD April 25, 2006 in the US. { January 1, 2006 } Just a happy new year reminder that Tristan and Isolde is out January 13th. The director is Randal Kleiser, the same guy that directed Grease. { July 20, 2003 } Henry is currently in Los Angeles filming for a "light hearted musical comedy" titled Red Riding Hood. This will be airing on television, and more details about the project will be added as they become available. Tristan and Isolde will be Henry's next film. He will be playing the part of Melot, and shooting begins in September. The Inspector Lynley Mysteries episode that Henry appears in, "Well Schooled in Murder", will be airing August 31st in the US on the PBS station.
